Policy-making and lobbying
 Central Sweden can help you pursue specific issues, and on request assist your efforts to lobby the EU.
• We help interested parties from our home region to bring successful local projects and the top-notch expertise available in our region to the attention of EU decision-makers. We regularly inform our Swedish clients about inquiries made by the European Commission requesting further information on promising projects or invitations by the European executive to send speakers to take part in various events.
• Once or twice a year, we arrange a European Policy Forum together with the Bergslaget special-interest organisation. The focus of that event is on developing regional policy, and speakers from both national bodies and the European Commission normally take part.
• Central Sweden holds regular meetings with representatives from the Swedish EU Representation for the purpose of engaging in mutual exchanges of information on current developments in the regional policy domain. This is done within the context of the SWEREG network.
